There's more to Duncan Norvelle than just his instantly recognisable catch phrase "Chase me!" Duncan was a regular on TV in the 80s and 90s after appearing on Saturday Royal for Lionel Blair. He was constantly on our screens in top shows like:
Duncan worked and toured with most of the top stars of the time, too many to mention them all:
- Dame Shirley Bassey
- Tom Jones
- Tommy Cooper
- Frank Carson
- The Three Degrees
- Norman Collier
- ...the list goes on
Duncan was a regular on the cabaret circuit and in pantomime. He toured the UK with his own show, performed on top cruise ships, played in all the major celebrity golf tournaments, and won many trophies on courses across the UK and Europe.
Duncan is also a fine after dinner speaker with a great knowledge of golf. A fine darts player himself - he still holds the record for the highest celebrity score on Bullseye! - Duncan has also compered the Legends of Darts tour.
In 2012 Duncan suffered a major stroke just before opening in summer season at the Grand, Blackpool. Told he may never walk or talk again, he has fought back and is back on stage, funnier than ever! In 2017 he was honoured to be asked to become a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats.
